Thanks for the help narrowing down VaPers and VAs everyone, I appreciate it. Edisto is decent, sipping my way through the rest of the tin. Realized that what I really want is a VaPer, one with just the right amount of perique for my own tastes. Tried Bayou Morning Flake and it has a bit too much perique - close, but just a bit too much. Settled on trying to nab a pound of Rouxgaroux April 1st, hoping that has a smidge less perique, or is at least less punctuated since it's not pressed into flakes. Any opinions on how it compares to the perique levels in Bayou Morning Flake?
Now I'm looking for a good VaBur, strictly Virginia forward, but with a good amount of Burley too. It would be nice to find a plain blend here, but I'm open to other tobaccos being in the blend except Latakia. Also open to a very light topping. Recommendations appreciated!
