Gunnar your the man haha I was seriously just thinking about a secret Santa earlier today but wasn't sure how to go about it so props for bringing it up! Gotta clear this through zee war department but I'd like to join. I'll let you know. Thanks again for getting it started!
The last couple were good fun. General rule was $25 mark. Some pointers for things I remember from last year.
1) when entering, send screenname, actual name, email and real address to organizer
2) we started a new thread for those taking part to list likes and dislikes
3) need a "must ship by date" so everyone can get their gift by Christmas
4) people stated when they received their gift in the forum
5) some people remained anonymous others revealed who they were in a letter with their gift, up to sender
6) no complaining of what you get
7) their are circumstances that may cause someone to join and then not send. We will not call them out. If you have no received your gift by, let's say Christmas day, the other organizer will give your name to someone else.
8 ) not only baccy but anything pipe related. Pipes, baccy, accessories....
Gunnar, unless you don't want to participate, I will volunteer to help as well. That way you also get a Secret Santa gift as well.
And of course I am in.

Tho I wouldn't even consider this with a group of people that I don't personally know, this community gives me such a feeling of trust,generosity and acceptance that I am most definitely in. Will send info when I get home to my pc.

I like those rules Eaglerico posted... pretty straight forward and simple.
So gunnar... when do you want the emails with our info? and I think the cutoff to ship should be something like 12/15/12 to insure the recipient receives it before Xmas or should we push it to later and hope it makes it in time?

Awesome I'm glad for the interest. Ill take names starting today at 12pm pacific time and ill taken them until the monday at midnight pacific time the 5th of November. The must ship your package date is December 10th.
Ok well with the postal service and around the holiday time Some popular tobaccos will go out of stock so I think that you should buy the tins sooner than later.
we can keep bumping this thread so people see it.

What IF... gunnar takes money from everyone on here, say $10-20 from paypal...
makes a huge order on P&C to get free shipping, then takes what he gets in tins
and splits into a few bowl samples of each blend and disperses to everyone who
pitched in...
the "No complaining about what you get" may keep someone from doing it again next year
if they get say an english blend when they only like aeromatics...
Unless there will be a thread to state what kind of baccy you like, like me and aeros, so gunnar will tell someone
"hey you, you are jareds secret santa, and he likes aeromatics"
