Why would you seem like a decent guy

I've consistently done everything possible in my time here to ensure that no one finds me to be decent. It would appear that my efforts have come up short--perhaps I missed my calling as a bookkeeper for the now defunct Mac Baren family?

and bring up those abominations in a publicish forum?

The only other libation that felt befitting of the Vegas crew was wine coolers. Jello shots just seemed to be the slightly classier option of the two.

It would be interesting if not predictable that STGs Mac Baren blends were terrible and C&Ds SPC blends were as good or better than the originals. I read Jim's reviews of the new Mac Barens and I have no interest in smoking any of it.

You have. I think it's got something to do with horses and generosity.

I had a bowl of "vintage" Plum Pudding last night in celebration. That is one fine and cool smoke, and it never bit once even though I was really chooching it. Tasty as can be. Glad to know I don't have to jealously guard and dole out my stash.

I am also wanting to pop open a tin as I was saving them for special occasions, but now I want to celebrate and enjoy it!

I imagine C&D wil find theri groove in making the SPC tobaccos. It may take a while, but the overall effect will be an additional level of expertise that will elevate other C&D tobaccos. Why wouldn't it.

There’s only one that I’m aware of, and he’s the blender who shepherded the SPC blends at Sutliff. I don’t know who else was involved.

Strangely I have a lot (almost too much) of SPC cellared and rarely break it out. But I am glad to hear there is hope it is coming back.

Feels too soon to start the “the Sutliff Plum Pudding was better” argument… but I guess I’m game.

Mac Baren is still being produced at Mac Baren in Svendborg, for the moment.

And yet it seems obvious (per a growing chorus of voices including JimInks) that something has changed in the production, whether it be a reduction in fermentation or decreasing the amount of sauce or whatever.

I’ve not yet read a single review of the latest production that has praised any of the current MacB blends in comparison to pre-STG production. If you have, please share!

Could be we are trying them with no age on them.
Regardless I took matters into my own hands and procured at least 40+ older St Bruno before the STG take over
