Returning to the pipe after 40 years ,tobacco reviews here have been interesting .
Ive tried several aromatics and some English narrowing it to “W.O.Larsen‘s” big 3 - “Signature,Old Fashioned & 1864 “ and comparing it to “Borkum Riff “Original” It seems the latter is the base for the other three except for casings ?
Agreed Borkum Original grows on one .
Is there a website like “Tobacco Reviews” that dabbles with noted linear comparisons (maybe in chart form for the uninitiated piper and personal satisfying taste ,experimental blending to compensate for lackluster off the shelf selections.
An example my go to add-in is 1/3 rd “Eight States Burley” to Holger Danske”Black & Bourbon”
for slowing the burn, or mixed with C&D’s Scarecrow Warped, or “Davidoff’s Scotish Mixture”
Anyone care to take this odd request on?
