The user HopHand is a scammer. He beat me on a trade for 2 tins of Atalaya (my favorite blend) .

I want to warn all you guys about a company that you should avoid. I would like to rant and rave about them, but I'll keep it simple. The company is WONDERSHARE, and they offer various software for a price. I bought, what I thought, was an app that was a one time payment for lifetime use. Turns out the only thing lifetime about it was the payments. I paid the initial cost and then to my surprise I started getting charges on my Paypal account every couple of weeks, which I never authroized. Tried to cancel with them but got no where. I'm trying to get my money back from Paypal. So, unless you like being taken to the cleaners, stay away from WONDERSHARE.

I have two software programs that are sold through Wondershare. Both had the option of auto-renew, which I selected. I’ve had this acccount for several years now and have yet to see an improper billing.

I prefer to make almost all online purchases and all gas purchases through my credit card, because they will immediately give credit back my account when I place a complaint about a possible scam. PayPal is questionable whether they respond quickly, plus they are usually tied to a bank acct. I'd rather not risk getting cleaned out. At least with a credit card they have had way longer to learn to deal with scams than banks have and are quicker to follow up.

PayPal is a great platform. A couple months ago I woke up to the charges for dick pills or something from China for for over $10,000.

I checked my bank and my bank noticed it too.

It took a few days but both my bank and PayPal worked together to resolve it.

I’ve used PayPal for a long time with more purchases than I care to admit. The only time I’ve been SCAMMED was using PayPal Friends and Family.

I had the same thing happen to me with WONDERSHARE. The problem is, it is not clear at all that you are subscribing to an annual payment. I didn't realize it until I got a charge on my Paypal account a year later. Paypal could help since it had already been paid.

Most software today is subscription based.

I made the mistake of being lured into the van. I got the free ammo alright, it just turned out to be used.
