Just no filter, no adapter? Most of the time. It wouldn't hurt to pick up a pack of them just in case but personally I never use them.

I’ve only seen the one finish. No 904s or 673s that I’ve seen. They do have 320s though.Anyone know if they'll offer them in more shapes/stummel finishes? I'd buy one in a 673 or 904 shape. If also buy a 320 in a different stummel finish.
Wishful thinking probably.
One thing I guess I should’ve checked on: do all filtered Savs come with the adapter to go filterless? I’m usually not a big fan of filters, but all of the Saint Nicks were filtered.
Cool ?I think they all come with an adapter so you don't have to use a filter..
Nothing at all.Just no filter, no adapter?
Nothing at all.
I just use a Qtip on the mortise and inside of the tenon. It really makes no difference except when cleaning out the stem you have to double over your pipe cleaner for part of the cleaning.
Yes, it’ll come with the adapter. It’ll be in the Balsa filter bag w/the Italian flag. Typically there are ten filters, plus one in the pipe. One thing I guess I should’ve checked on: do all filtered Savs come with the adapter to go filterless? So I got it in the mail today, and I’m on my second bowl with it now.Nothing at all.
If you like the tighter draw that the filter gives, but don’t want your smoke filtered, you can use the adapter. It might make cleaning a little easier too, but I kind of doubt it.I am smoking a Savinelli right now without a filter or adapter. I’m curious, what is the benefit of using an adapter in your pipe? This pipe seems to smoke really well as he is, so I am wondering about the benefits of such an adapter.
The only time I really want a tighter draw is when my wife and I are away for a night or two from the kids!If you like the tighter draw that the filter gives, but don’t want your smoke filtered, you can use the adapter. It might make cleaning a little easier too, but I kind of doubt it.

“Nothing at all” was indeed the way to go, embers. The filter tightened the draw up way too much for my tastes, and so did the adapter. The empty stem is just about right. If it were even a touch more open, like my cobs, it wouldn’t hurt my feelings, but this is certainly as good as the draw on my other briar pipes, and smokes great like this. Even the first bowl was good, which is usually hit or miss with a new pipe.
Yeah, I’m not a fan of that either. It’s pretty much a given that you need to tack a day or two onto their predicted delivery date when it’s Surepost.Nice! I like the pearl-esque stem. Mine was suppose to be delivered today as well, but POS UPS handed it off to USPS, so delivery date is now Tuesday. Not losing any sleep over it, but this handing off BS is getting old...
