Beautiful photos that have me wanting a new pipe. I had a rusticated billiard a few years back that I unfortunately broke beyond repair but it was a good smoker and I even liked the balsa filters. This thread has me dreaming of a new one. Maybe a Bing's this time!

Nice pipes fellas! Here are my Savs. The top one is a 413 KS sitter. This was my first nice pipe. I bought it four years ago, and it is still one of my favorites. The other is a Savinelli Florence, I picked up on an "under $50" page online. I think I paid $32 for it. It is a very nice pipe, smokes great. Both use the 6mm balsa system.

This is my only Savinelli, and also the first pipe I owned. It's a "Punto Oro" my father bought around 1968-69 when he was gradually quitting smoking cigarettes and tried pipe-smoking for a while. He gave it to me in 1993 along with a tin of Dunhill London Mixture. That was my first pipe-tobacco combination when I started smoking.
Sorry for the image quality and the lighting. Neither is that great to appreciate the pipe...

rigmedic1, That particular style Bing’s Favorite was on my wish list as soon as I first saw. Sadly it’s the one that got away. I have the smooth finish myself. Let me know if you ever want to part with it.
