Saw an estate Savinelli 121 KS and was curious about it. I have not bought it yet, and I admit I've never owned a Savinelli and it seems like a great deal (the guy's asking $60) when I did a quick google search on their site a KS121 was 200 euros, but looking at them used maybe it's not the steal price I thought it was at first glance (probably is worth what he's asking lol). From what I did read though, the KS stands for King Size and the 121 is the shape number.

Anyhow, anyone have thoughts on this pipe? Worth getting? I googled a bunch but couldn't find any exactly like this with that logo.

I'm a newbie to Savinelli research but I would love to own one. Judging from the logo on the shank it seems vintage, as I don't think Savinelli has used that style logo in a long time.

Any help would be appreciated! (The pics aren't the best)

Meh, condition is everything and Savinelli pipes aren’t particularly collectible. I’d pass personally.

However, I would highly recommend a new Savinelli to you! They can be had quite reasonably and are great smokers. I’ve got several and really enjoy them all.

I think you could find a good new Sav for under $100.

Thanks a lot, that is what I wanted to know. Appreciate it. I will get one down the road for sure, probably new.

Alternatively, Rossi pipes are made by Sav. The briar isn’t as pretty but they’re cured & drilled the same. They’re numbered the same except Rossi’s have a “8” as the first digit. ie. Instead of 121 they’re 8121. Most are priced $30-$50(US) less & are great smokers. I’ve got a 8616 bent Billiard & it handles anything I put in it.
