...I like a number of Savinelli offerings so I trusted these would be decent.
Agreed. Doblone d'Oro and Brunello Flake are excellent tobaccos. I trust these will be good as well.

I don't know if it's true, but one of the retailers says it's C&D, but packed in screw top tins.
That’s probably because it’s so wet! ?Esoterica's come in 2oz. New Germain's as well. Not sure what else..
UR NOT ALONE BROI hope not. I’ve had a string of C&D blends that read on the tin like they’re up my alley, but just fall flat. I think something at C&D just doesn’t agree with me.
I'd bet on them being good, but they should have asked jiminks to review them -- always prudent. I'm so overstocked for my slow poke smoking, I shouldn't buy any blends until 2046, but no doubt I will. Oops, now I see jiminks just posted he's received tins for review. Never mind. All is well.
They seem to have a few different lines made by different manufacturers.I was under the impression Savinelli blends were blended by Mc Barens company

I ordered the Jupiter a few days ago along with a few others. I ordered Escudo because I love that one and miss it, also got yellow Sail because I'am just curious about it, Robinson blend you know the one that Ji Minks loves so much, and jupiter because honestly I've been have some weird dreams with Jupiter themes and I strongly believe in living live superstitiously. So what do we know about them? Who makes them? Anyone try them yet?
I ordered some Jupiter sight unseen as I’m into VaBurs and Vaburkeys these days.
Is it just me or is Doblone d;Oro the least consistent blend on the planet. It can go from best to o.k. in the same bowl or is it just me?Agreed. Doblone d'Oro and Brunello Flake are excellent tobaccos. I trust these will be good as well.
It happens, I had some last night and it was great. I have a few tines and I haven't smoked enough of it but I seem to enjoy it when I do. I'm going to reach for more often. Is it just me or is Doblone d;Oro the least consistent blend on the planet. It can go from best to o.k. in the same bowl or is it just me?
Shane Ireland just confirmed your comment. I am sorry for doubting youC&D makes them I believe.

Sorry will stop teasing you about it. Jim Inks. It's JimInks, man. I don't know why I was unable to capitilize the "I" when I joined, but it's caused confusion ever since. I should have typed "Jim Inks", I suppose.
