That makes the purchase so much better. I love when I receive a new pipe and it looks better than expected, especially when the stamping is solid.

I totally agree! SP does a nice job with photos but nothing beats having it in hand. I wish they made the 616 in this Alligator series.

I’ve got a Green 677 Alligator that someone gave me as a gift. It smoked great and is taking on a different look the more I smoke it. The smooth spots are turning brown under the green stain and it looks great. I tried to get a good pic showing the coloration but it really didn’t show up. I’ll have to try and get a pic in better light sometime and post it.

The coloring on mine is doing the same. I like the contrast.
