"Have you seen the 2017 St. Nicholas 320?"

These are for sale at Smokingpipes.com, I just ordered mine. How can you not want a pipe that looks like it's wearing a 70's tube sock?
I currently have both the rusticated and smooth pianoforte 320s, and the 2016 St Nicholas 320. The Porto Cervo is next.

Taking my 320 on it's maiden smoke now. I stuck a 6mm adapter in it and it passes a pipe cleaner with ease. I filled it with a 70/30 mix of Carter Hall and PS Balkan Supreme. I am halfway through the bowl after only the charming light. Maybe theses 320 are the magic pipes I have been looking for. I have to say the texture in the hand is very pleasing and it hangs from the teeth with more ease than expected.

It really IS a magic pipe. I even asked that very question here... http://pipesmagazine.com/forums/topic/savinelli-320-is-it-a-magic-pipe and inadvertently caused a 320 buying spree lol. And discovered when I finally got my first 320 that it is indeed a magic pipe. Enjoy the heck out of yours Fmgee

I remember that thread Anthony and somehow did not buy one then. I smoked the whole bowl on the charring light which was a first for me. I don't mind relights but it was just not required. I'll see how it goes during round two tomorrow.

I also fell victim to the post, and got an unsmoked Porto Cervo off Ebay for 80 bucks. Don't smoke it as often as my other Savinellis, probably because it doesn't handle flakes as well. But great with aros.

Here's mine, a Punto Oro, it came with two stems, I believe one is vulcanite, the other acrylic.

I think I have to make it official, this 320 is my magic pipe. I filled it with 50/50 mix of Carter Hall and Lane's Crown Achievement, the charring light took me to mid bowl and a second match burned gently to the bottom of the bowl. What a pleasure it is to smoke it. I now wonder why I waited over 2 years to pick one up.

Beautiful stand above.

I'm up to 7 320s from Savinelli and another couple of Rossis.

I love the shape and how it feels in the hand. It also smokes great!

I also hope to find a vintage army mount or Capri version but with a vulcanite stem. I'd also love to locate a vulcanite stemmed Panama.

Crazy how many different series of 320s there have been.
