Sasieni Reigate

What can you tell about the Reigate date? Is it safe to say 1936? I read that the town names started then with the other features/8 dots...

I've read various dates for the beginning of the use of the town names. I don't think a specific date for that pipe is too important. People in the Sasieni world know the Eight Dots are from the late 1920's through the 1930's.

On this one narrow issue I can offer some information; town names were definitely on Sasieni pipes by the fall of 1923

I've always heard the earlier date also Jon. Tony Soderman told me he had a 1923 ~ 24 catalog which showed the town names.
