I have two 4dot #7 pipes, the first I bought new at a BM in the mid-eighties for $70.00 ruff root stamped made in France, the second I bought new from Iwan in the nineties on closeout for $40.00 smooth walnut stamped made in England. Both are good smokers but nothing I'd pay +$100.00 for.

Of those 49 results, there are about 10 contenders (including one nice Patent era pipe!)

And as mentioned earlier, a few incorrect listings ("Four Dot" in the title but stamped "4 Dot").....

The Patent era pipe didn't disappoint.

$461 isn't high for a one dot. I've seen mucho higher. Granted, the rim and bowl look a little rough, but the stampings are all there and crisp, which is uncommon. The fishtail Sasieni logo wasn't strong and often gets buffed away. The pipe will hopefully clean up well and not stink.
