No buffer involved, only the sweat of my brow . No carnaubawax either .
Next time will put on the gloves, this is annoying.
What made me really happy is to see the dots still being in perfect robin eggshell blue.

I found it amazing that the stem had no tooth marks even though the pipe was clearly smoked often. Must not have been a clencher. Great job, beautiful pipe. I love classic shapes.

As did I , no toothmarks and it increased my interest a lot. The airway and mortise were relativley clean too (?)
Stem was heavily oxidized, on the sellers pics. it almost looked like a cumberland one :)
I'm not a clencher either , hate toothmarks on stems.
