I thought I'd continue with the Sasieni fever that's hit the board the past couple of weeks.
These are both from (as best I can figure) the 1950's. The bottom one I've had for 30+ years, and is one of my Desert Island Seven.
I liked it so much that when I saw another at a show several years back I grabbed it even though it had a crack starting at the end of the shank. I've always liked the barbaric splendor of tasteful metal on a pipe, could tell it would look OK with a band even though Joel didn't put it there, knew a guy who would do it right 8) , and the model was fairly scarce, so thought I'd give it a go. Glad I did. It smokes 95% as yummy as the first one.
Please excuse the grubby stems. A shoemaker's children have no shoes, etc.
The stats are 6.25" long, 2.25" tall, and 61.8 grams. (Dunhill ODA size)
