@Al, I had been watching the pipe that you speak of very closely for some time and could not believe what it sold for! I did not have the funds at the time or I would have bid on it myself. A beautiful find indeed! I hope you put some pictures up after! I had also been watching this one closely and same scenario, no funds but also went for far less then I expected!

All is well though! I just bought a 1980 Dunhill 51033 for 50$. Just happened to catch it when it went up. I’ll either try my hand at the restore myself or if in really rough shape I’ll sent it up to a friend in CT for a thorough restore. I may just opt for that anyway. I had to have a celebratory smoke in a 1955 Dunnie 60 F/T with some Sextant! ::
