Again inspired by George, I thought I'd present my Sasieni Eight Dot pipe. Alas, it is missing the stinger, but the threads inside the tenon are still present and in good shape. The pipe has been HEAVILY overbuffed, but most of the nomenclature is(barely) readable except for the patent stamp where only the last two digits are visible. The pipe has a reddish tone, with hints of purple, which I assume are the results of a plum finish being buffed down. Beautiful straight grain all around.
I have included a 1933 Dunhill Shell LB with the Vernon tenon for comparison, as these were equivalent styles.
