I heard a Memo went out to shops Friday, so I pulled up the Laudisi web page just to see that there was something solid behind the talk, and found this.

Answers a lot of questions being asked in other threads. According to what I heard about the memo, each and every one of these blends can be ordered by shops for shipment to them starting in late December.

I heard some rumblings about this on PSD*, and am cautiously optimistic as well. Plugs are intriguing, but I don't have a lot of experience with them. Yet!

*We can mention other forums here, right?

Is this their first SG import? I hadn’t realized they took it over and do both SG and GH now.
As I understand it, GH bought SG, so they are basically the same company anyway. The SG tins I just got this weekend are dated April/May 2022 and have "Distributed in the USA by Laudisi..." printed on the back label.

Not sure if any of that answers your question, or if it was completely tangential to it. ;)

I bet the Full Virginia Plug & St James Plug sell out in record time. I noticed there was a Fire Dance Plug on the list. We don't get that one over here (the UK) so i'm guessing Fire Dance Flake must be popular over in the States. If these new (to the US) plugs sell well they might start importing RB Plug and Revor.
Per a discussion that came up on another forum about a year ago on another forum, it was verified by Chris Gawith that they have never made Revor, but distribute it for Scandinavian Tobacco Group. When the topic came up,, it was because Daniel at Synjeco had told the world it had been discontinued. Chris said that was strange since they had just gotten in a shipment from STG. The name GH TT appears on the Revor packaging, but that stands for Gawith Hoggarth Tobacco Trading, their distribution arm
Revor was a brand name for the now defunct Manchester Tobacco operation which was bought out years ago by Japan Tobacco. My understanding is that they only l8cense STG to make it for the EU and UK markets and GH sending it to the US would breach the license

I wonder what it would take for Japan Tobacco to consider licensing Revor Plug for the US market as well. There’s got to be, what, 3 or 4 of us at least that would be interested!

Were Full Virginia Plug and St James Plug ever sold in the US back in the day or is this a totally new thing? I was just wondering about the deeming regulations and how, or if it would effect anything.
