They may have moved their old machinery to the old building and opened the museum they were talking about.

I think they have been around long enough to make a decision or two on their own.

If I ever got a moldy box, I would show it to every pipe site, Facebook anyone who would listen and then tell SG if it happens again, I will make your company sounds like a bunch of dead beats who lost alltheir tobaccer knowledge when the split happened.

I have close to 45 pounds of 3 SG flakes and they are great. If you can make it once you can do it again. There is never any good excuse for mold of any kind. All mine is from 2012 and earlier.
really cause mold is everywhere really and can take root pretty easily. And once it leaves the factory the shear number of random uncontrolable factors happen. Even though it should never be something you get known for. It should happen rarely enough to seem like a fable not a toss of the coin.

If factory sealed, it seems like the uncontrollable factors wouldn't matter as much. The inner Ziploc is sealed and if they did a better job shrink-wrapping the box, that would be 2 layers of protection against outside filth.

Gawith and Hoggarth have a presence on Facebook and have lately been showing images of some of the old machinery. Have a look... Facebook Gawith and Hoggarth
