Yeah the SG Limted Edition annual aromatics ship in a cookie tin box (not your regular gawith square tins), they are not airtight and were made to be smoked in 2013 (or 2014) - I have some I've jarred and rather enjoy it. But any available tins on the market are probably dried out unless the seller stored it in a humidor the entire time.

I spent solid cash on this blend

I would never pay more than retail on a perishable good. Too many risks involved. Today's available blends are tomorrow's unicorns.

I shall agree with what a few others have said. The LE tobaccos were meant to be smoke when they were produced. Age isn't always a friend.
