I'm guessing the pipe tobacco machinery is going, but the Snuff machinery is staying as a museum exhibit. As I understand, the wooden cogs in the snuff gear got damaged a few years back so they probably haven't been using it for a while.

Thanks for the good reporting. Hopefully the merger will mean maintaining quality products but also make them less vulnerable to the winds of commerce. I hope to visit where they are when I'm back in the UK someday.
