I’m not so sure. The supply has been difficult and I believe shipments have been rejected so to some paperwork type nonsense. They would sell plenty of it was here so don’t think that there is a reason they would want a shortage.

I think it depends. They are not really known for heavy Latakia blends. Squadron Leader, Perfection and Skiff all have their followers. I really like Balkan Flake. A LOT. There is a unique quality to their lat but they aren’t really lat-bombs.

Commonwealth is delicious, and a certified first order lat bomb.

I honestly think Skiff Mixture is the best English/Balkan on the market today.

Not sure if anyone here in from NY..but the Tobacco Corner in Huntington NY has plenty of Sam Gawith and GH in stock.

Boswell, too. Said he had almost the entire line available for walk-in customers only. He sells a bit online (actually, his daughter does), but he tries to keep everything for locals first. I told him I didn't fault him for that.

I would also rather avoid the NY tobacco taxes since I am a resident. I shall remain patient. I still have pounds of other blends that I dig to smoke through in the meantime.

It's possible but I really don't think so. Gawith are a pretty small blending house. They keep the UK fully stocked and then there's the US which is a big market. Plus there's China now. I'd be interested to know how much of Gawith's production they take up. I'd guess it's a fair bit and probably growing.

We don't get any Cornell & Diehl over here, and we didn't get any McClelland when they were around either.

You think yourself lucky we send you anything. We still haven't forgotten how you kicked us out a few years ago! Over tea wasn't it? Or taxes? I can't quite remember.

Just to be clear, I was joking. I hope you get plenty of Gawith stock real soon?.

Not true, not in the last. It may take a bit of effort but if you can't find all you want, you're not trying very hard.

I've seen a few of the people on here recommend trying a B&M for hard to find blends. Definitely seems to be the way to go.
