To those that missed out on St. James and Cabbie’s, I just came to my senses and cancelled my order. Also, I noticed the Per Jensen blends were available so I stocked up. Not sure when the cancelled tins will be returned to available inventory, but you’re welcome. 🤣 FYI, when I adjusted my order I was told there is a drop of G&H coming next Tuesday. I’m not sure if this was publicized, or if I just joined the cool kids club.

Now it’s time to crack open my last tin of St. James and bid farewell to ol’ Sammy G.
Did you order more than 77? That’s my place in line. 😆

Yup, much too rich for my blood. Years ago when FVF was set at a reasonable price, I smoked it regularly. That and Best Brown were the only blends of theirs's I smoked. But, don't miss them.
Looking at the price on 8oz boxes, currently priced at what 500g boxes were earlier this year. So doubled in price over 4-6 months. I guess import fees doubled?

It’s good we think a bit more about the insidious nature of inflation…no real reason prices should go up if you think about it (especially given typical productivity improvements, prices should drop over time with a steady money supply). Last few years has been a travesty and doesn't look like it's getting to target anytime soon...

Can’t speak to that. Haven’t smoked pipes in 10 years…and have a lot of that to go through…

P.S. I get the sense everything went up 25% in the last few years. Just thinking about groceries, utilities, taxes…and the M1 money supply.
