I saw the ad in the first photo below for Samuel Gawith Cabbie's Mixture today on Smoking Pipes. When I clicked on it I got the “out of stock” shown in photo two. Anyone get any, or was an old stock photo for SG blends used, so this was just a mirage?

I saw some on the shelf at Davidus Cigars in MD literally yesterday, didn't buy any though.
So that's confirmed American presence, at least. You aren't hallucinating. Probably.

It's been available in the past. You just have to catch it when it shows up.

I saw it in stock at $22 per 50g tin. I was just window shopping
I thought it was $26 the one time I wasn’t booted out of site at SP. Regardless it was the price (for what is an unknown to me) that caused me pause, and ultimately to be back to wondering if it’s worth it.

I’m learning that I need to spend time and money being sure I’ve got blends that I know and like (and are available) well stocked in the pantry before I go back to chasing unicorns..

It's hard to pay that considering until recently tins were on the order of $15 new and ~$20-25 for aged tins. It's very good and nothing like it out there that I am aware of. I would buy it in bulk, but won't buy it in tins.

I didn’t think I was smoking anything funny when I thought I’d seen it before at the same price as all the other SG tins….

I love Cabbie's. It made my day seeing they brought it back.

Some of the later batches (around the tail end of when it was last available) weren't up to snuff in leaf and in lakeland contamination.

$20+ is crazy crazy crazy
