Hey All,
As I mentioned last week, I decided to give the Limited Edition Jubilee 2012 from Samuel Gawith a try. The description on the site I buy from described it as - "a blend of Virginias and Black Cavendish with the "FIZZ" of champagne." As soon as you pop the seal on the tin, you certainly get the scent of champagne. I even asked my good lady wife to take a sniff of the tin to see what she thought it smelt of. Without any clue about what it was flavoured with, she said champagne almost at once!
From the tin, the tobacco was a little too damp which made it a little harder to light. It has a very smooth Virginia taste and there almost does seem to be a "fizz" about the taste of the smoke. I'll post a proper review once I have had the chance to smoke more than the few bowls I have tried already. But based on first impressions, if you like Virginia based blends and want to try something a little different, this may well be worth a try.
Cheers
Mark
