Saliva in your Stem?

Aka drool in the airway. Some folks seem to do its some a lot. Some say never. What's in your experience?

Every single time. One reason I like cobs, is I don't notice the moisture, like I do with briars. No gurgle. Honestly I couldn't tell you if it was spit, or just combustion moisture.

I'd be interested to know if there was a correlation between this & mouth shape (as I suspect is the case with stem shape preference).

An overbite, for example, will probably slope the pipe & make it easier for saliva to run down into the chamber...?
