Sacrilege - Finished Whiskey

Traditional whiskey/whisky is generally in my glass the majority of the time I am having an adult beverage. That said, sometimes a nicely done finished whiskey really hits the spot. Barrel Craft Seagrass or The Macallan 12 year Sherry finish are two good examples.

I just popped two Starlight finishes - Blueberry Port finished bourbon and VDN finished rye. I have previously had both and they are subtle but really nice.

Any other recommendations that I should hunt down?

As I am retired - isn’t everyday Friday (or Saturday?)

I have a couple of pork shoulders smoking since early am, so I felt a little taste this afternoon was acceptable.

Jameson Black Barrel has nice vanilla finish. Bushmills Black Bush has something, but very faint, still very smooth whiskey.

Glenfarclas 15 (not cheap)

Both work exceptionally well with Revor Plug.
