Capitals! A proper name, and "pipes" in title needs a capital .

s.t. dupont, french makers of the super-expensive luxe lighters sold smoking pipes under its name some years ago. anyone know abt their history, quality, desirability? thanks

I see online a pipe/lighter set, celebrating 130 years of Castello in 2002. Pipe unused, lighter needs a tiny bit of cleaning. Asking price only $7500.

Also, Harrods at one time had a Claude Monet pipe/lighter set with a black laquered pipe with gold band, out of stock, no price.

If they produce pipes, it seems that for a long time they've been in the wealthy novelty market.

A good number of businesses contracted Chacom to make pipes for them. Possible even custom designs. Davidoff did it and their pipes still sell for more than a used CC just because of the branding. Looking at photos they sure say Chacom to me.
