Rusticated,Blasted,Smooth Peterson

my only Pete is a rusticated Short Army 102, and while I like it on this pipe I would opt for blast on a modern bent Pete line or smooth on a classic bent Pete.

I think the current rustication matches the feel of the VZ Operator grips on my 1911

I've come to appreciate sandblasted most consistently. Good combo of visual / tactile in my world.

I am sure that I prefer the blasted pipes, but the smoothed pipes also look good.

Rusticated is my least favorite finish, but I love a good blast and great grain!
