I always bought "American" as it was almost like a religion growing up around my Dad. I finally had to say enough is enough and bought the better built, better engineered vehicles. From Japan. Their motorcycles as well. Sorry Harley. And their electronics are so much better as well. YMMV.

I went through a Harley phase. One day I rode with a friend with a BMW . He wanted to swap and we did. First thing I noticed was the ease of applying the brakes.
