I was hoping for a NZ win, but the South Africa really displayed a strong determination over those games. An England New Zealand final would have been a travesty, and New Zealand would have walked it.

After fifty years of trying, I finally developed a taste for soccer by watching every match of the last World Cup. By the end, I started to see patterns and openings in what had theretofore looked like aimlessness to me. I even knew how off-sides worked.

But it took fifty years; I'm sure they're wonderful sports, but I think rugby and cricket are going to have to wait for my next life.
