This pipe came to me as a response to a comment on Gary's post about rsuninv's generosity of 2 Kaywoodies and a Yellow Bowl Bamboo. I am not usually a fan of bamboo shanks, but the color and nostalgic properties associated with these really draws me. Anyway I said as much in the post and that same day rsuninv sent me a message that he had another that he wanted to send me in thanks for what I'm doing on the site and through the Free Pipe Project. And this little beauty came in the mail today. What a cool little pipe. I haven't smoked it yet, but it is very light and feels great in the mouth. I'm thinking that this will be the pipe I smoke when I'm writing. I can't wait to fire it up, but wanted to post some pics and a hearty thank you to rsuninv for a thoughtful gift. The best part is that it is already restored and I can smoke it right out of the box.

I love it! Thanks again my friend!!!!

Wow that is a beautiful pipe! I hope to add a bamboo shanked pipe to the rotation someday as well. You deserve that gift. Enjoy!

Yes it is very nice. Just had a very tasty bowl of Full Virginia Flake in it. It smoked very nice, good draw, and didn't get too hot. I love it!

Class Timothy - sheer class. I've also been a beneficiary of your generosity and you are a special guy.
