Royal Sovereign

I see lots of Royal Sovereign pipes for sale from the UK on Ebay. I made a search for them on PM, but there isn't anything on them. Could anyone give me some info on them?

The book "Who Made That Pipe", says that pipe brand was made Orlik in England and Stanwell in Denmark.

Like Al said, a sub-brand of Orlik. I have a Royal Sovereign straight pot with thick walls, and it is one of my favorite pipes. It has a couple of tiny fills that are hardly visible, but that is no worry to me as the pipe is so nice to smoke. I would buy another without hesitation.

I've had 2 both marked made in Denmark and think from my research they are Comoy sub-brand.

Royal Sovereign is a Orlik sub brand/seconds very comparable to Comoys sub Everyman pipes, both of wich smoke well as long as you don't pay too much for either
