While looking at Pipedia I noticed this stamping on a Comoys Old Bruyere, it may explain the shamrock looking stamp on my pipe...

I picked this Royal Comoy up some time back. Would also appreciate any help in dating it. Based on the 3-piece "C" in the stem, i can date it to pre-1980, but that's about all I have.

Stamping: side one - "Royal" over "Comoy" - no s on the Comoy.

other side "Made In London" Arched "England and "291" down and to the right.
The photos really do not do it justice - it has a great uniform flame grain all away around.
Appreciate any help.
