I found this Tobacco pipe in a thrift shop and I was hoping someone on here might have some info on it.

To interpret the stamp a little, I think it means the pipe was made in France, and made of briar. I don't think France has native briar, though I could be wrong. I'll go to the links provided and see where it's made. It's an interesting item. Are those bands leather? Unusual.
Oops, no, it's a U.S. located pipe maker. So either France has some briar in the south, or the briar was wholesaled through France. Never can tell.

Thanks for the advice everyone and no I didn't buy it. I want to make sure it is worth the 62$ before I buy it. I will do a little more research on it and let you all know if I buy it.

Indeed. I'd pass, but then I am very traditionally minded in pipes. I have one churchwarden that I just don't smoke. Prefer pipes that are easy to hold and handle.
