Irish, I've got one that is almost identical -- except of course that no two are.
As I type, it's propped in the corner of my den, where it rests between walks.
Are you familiar, I wonder, with Bataireacht, the Irish martial art built around these sticks?
Very interesting bit of our culture.

@tslex yes sir I am! My grandfather taught me. His father came from Ireland so I've got very very close ties to the old world! LOL that's why its gotta lil extra heft with the help of some lead! :D

I'm not sure where I first heard that phrase, but I think it may have possibly been from the Mark Wahlberg movie, "Shooter", where he plays an ex-Marine sniper. We all have some rough days my friend. Glad to see that you are ok. Thats one hell of a cane I must say! Smoke easy and relax my friend, sometimes slowing down is a good thing. I will be lighting one up here shortly, and of course I am in no hurry. Stay safe man.
