Funny, I use Monteverde refills in my 3 ST Dupont pens (2 are 18 years old) almost exclusively too because they write so smoothly. Both ballpoint and rollerball (I think it’s called.) I buy them from Pensavings too. When you spend hundreds of dollars on a pen, you tend to keep an eye on them and they become a bit like friends over the years. Still look new. I did loose one a long time ago and it still bothers me as it was a gift and was beautiful. I think I left it at an Acura dealership when they offered me way more for my car than it was worth and I could not sign the paper fast enough.

I own a couple of genuine Mont Blanc fountain pens I was gifted nearly forty years ago, and I keep them in a drawer for two reasons:
1. The damned things are going to leak and ruin (at least) your shirt, at the most embarrassing times.
2. I like a Monteverde Soft Roll cartridge a lot better as to how they write. Seriously. They’ve duplicated the Pilot G2, and are the best I’ve found. Plus they don’t ever leak.
Not all luxury Chinese pens are outright fakes and counterfeits.
These Kaigelu 316 pens are like the famous Parker Dufold but are branded, and Monteverde makes a refill.
