I've been on a straight pipe kick of late and wanted to add 1 with good chamber capacity to it. Thought of Rossi since I'd bought a Rossi Vittoria 320 and found it to be very well made for the money. So, I got a Lucca EX. Rossi Lucca (8803 EX) | Buy Rossi Tobacco Pipes at Smokingpipes - https://www.smokingpipes.com/pipes/new/rossi/moreinfo.cfm?product_id=378552 Didn't want to spend a lot of money and, if you don't, can't go wrong with a Rossi.
A bit small for me, but made by Savinelli it'll be a winner.?

Affordable price and No filters is a bonus to me. I dont want the extra hassle of dealing with a filter.

I've got a couple Savinellis, and they are great pipes. I would not hesitate to buy a Rossi if I saw one that I really liked.

One of my Savinellis is a straight apple made for Iwan Ries. I got it as an estate pipe for about $45 as I best recall, and it's quite possibly my favorite pipe. I especially like the Iwan Ries factor because I lived in Chicago at the time that I started smoking a pipe, and I was very fortunate to have Iwan Ries to point me in the right direction.

Rossi gives you an array of Savinelli shapes with a Rossi stamp, well crafted and moderately priced. I have a prince with a notably larger bowl than most of that shape, and an 8404 version of the Sav 404 Palermo (Sicily) series zulu/yacht in a pleasing deep red stain. The prices on some of the series are notching up a little, so get them while they are still a bargain. Anyone starting a rotation on a budget, or just wanting to add Sav shapes at less cost should definitely rely on Rossi pipes.

Recently I bought a couple cheap Rattray's pipes, a Raven and a Good Deal ($40 and $53 respectively) and have been very pleased with them. I'm a Peterson guy too, and I like the Rattray's shapes

The pipe I bought had a bowl a little less than 1/4 inch from being as tall as a Peterson straight house pipe while being only 1/10 of an inch narrower with bowl depth just a smidge deeper while being around $110 cheaper :)

On the subject, it's worth noting that the SP pages on Rossi have expanded considerably, so more shapes, sizes, and finishes than ever are now available and are worth taking time to browse if you are in the market. Especially people who are just starting a rotation can learn a lot about shapes and finishes that can be attained on a budget. We're talking 221 pipes on offer!

That Lucca 8803 EX is a beautiful pipe! I have a Rossi Vittoria 8320 and it's definitely the pipe I smoke the most. Would definitely buy another Rossi down the line, seems like a great value.

Just arrived and am quite pleased with it. Haven't smoked it yet-that will be tonight. But, relative to bowl capacity, the only pipe I've got which rivals its capacity is my 2015 Peterson Founder's Edition Hungarian. So, just what the doctor ordered. :)

I own 3 Rossi pipes and all smoke well. All are Sandblasted and have a heavy black stain which I would guess are a way of covering up imperfections and unappealing grain. That being said, all are drilled spot on and a great value.

Yes, I suspect the majority of rusticated and blasted pipes receive those finishes due to briar imperfections. I'd call the black stain on this pipe sort of a semi-gloss stain. The only time I like black stain is with rusticated or blasted pipes. Generally prefer brown, but find the black, rusticated finish on this pipe quite attractive due to the contrast with the chrome band.
