I figured a picture will help explain how I see your household.

I love the smell of real pine and Pine-Sol ain't no real pine smell. If that's what's she's after, then suggest that she either clean more or pour some over the rocks and sip at her leisure.

Um...incense might be a good compromise.
A fragrance lamp (like a Berger) would probably be an even better compromise...many of the yippies* in my university days would keep them burning around the dorms 24/7 with pine-pitch to cover any strange odours that Jason's toilet paper tube didn't catch.

I find when I'm smoking with incense going in the room, by mid-bowl, I can often taste it...especially with the stronger fragrances.
*yippie: Vancouver The West Coast is chock-full of people who like to dress like, talk like, and generally act like hippies (or, rather, their misconception of what the hippie movement was), however, they return to their million-dollar condominiums that mom and dad bought them, crack a bottle of fine wine, and partake in fine-dining. Half hippie, half yuppie, all yippie.

Years ago, my Dad got a small squirt bottle of pure pine scent from a chemist. Everytime we had company we would squirt the Christmas tree. Everyone always commented on how good our tree smelled.

@cyndi

Most people consider the smell of bleach and pine-sol to be pleasant because as children, those smells meant "clean."
Great observation Cyndi. My ex had that programming. When I hired a cleaning service when we first moved in together, she came home from work and the condo didn't smell like Pine-Sol, so she said they didn't do a good job of cleaning. To please her, I had to tell the new housekeeper (since she fired the other one) to make sure the place reeks of Pine-Sol when you are done.
I don't have to worry about that anymore though.
I prefer the smell of food cooking to bring back great childhood memories and feelings. I just got inspired for another thread.

LMAO Johnny! Even if you did find a blend that smelled like Pine, imagine what it would taste like? Maybe introduce her to Deers Tongue in your blends. Better yet, keep some arosol spray nearby.

I begin this thread with fear and trembling.

Having discovered that the missus loves the bouquet of Pine-Sol (used in housecleaning chores)....she has asked if I could find a tobacco that scents the air similarly to Pine-Sol. I'm not sure I really want to go down this road, but does the membership have any suggestions?.....
To answer this question, here is the simplest of solutions, just buy one of those Potbury (SP) burners add some Pine Sol in the plate and light, you smoke your pipe and the wife comes home and has the wonderful scent of Pine Sol :crazy: problem solved. Now with regards to the stench of burnt Pine Sol.... :crying: it may bring a tear to your eye. :mrgreen:
