Generally speaking,still today all-male citizens in our country (Finland)are getting drafted into obligatory military service for 6 to 8 months, Instead of going to college I went there right after I had finished my high school at the age of 17 Armored Cavalry Regiment /MP section from there I enlisted further in border patrol units for several years.

I also enlisted at 17. Personally, I feel that mandatory military service is a good thing and brings a wider view and experience of the world. Not to mention a little national pride. Do you feel like you are a better person for the experience sir?

Well, in my humble opinion , a little military training does not hurt anybody,lol, were I younger dude I could consider re-enlisting myself,,,
