Anyone have experience with this tobacco? I bought a tin because it is described as having a star anise flavoring. I really don't detect any topping at all but still think it's a great tobacco. I find it to be on the stronger side of medium with a nice full dark virginia flavor that stays consistent through the bowl. This is a smooth smoke in my opinion and has not ever bit me. I'm surprised that there is only one review on tobacco reviews. Wondering what your opinions are.

This blend is top notch. I do not get anise but it is a really nice dark Virginia.
I also recommend the McConnell glen Piper. A nice Virginia with an old timey topping.

I have some. I don't remember any details but I did enjoy it when I tried it.

No, I don't consider Glen Piper an aromatic. The underlying flavor of the tobacco comes through, which is a nice Virginia. It is a solid smoke.
