Wow...93...hard to believe. Amazing how time flies.

FT was one of the funniest things ever on TV. All the cast members were great (for me it's stood the test of time better than most of the Monty Python stuff). Sybil and Basil's marital bliss made for many memorable moments.

RIP.

I have the DVD set...will have to revisit it again before long. In an interview with Cleese (I'm pretty sure it was in the special features in the set) he talks about how they almost made a Fawlty Towers movie...the story they had for it as he describes it is absolutely hilarious. Oh how I wish it had been made.

I think the term is on point.
Back to the point. Even if all she did was Faulty Towers she got more then a lifetime of laughs out of just that series. As it's clearly one of those gems that people rewatch many times and somehow the funny doesn't wear off. That's a compliment that might not register to some but to others they'll see that as high praise.
