One of my favorite Hammond B3 organists, a great many of which are likewise deceased. Hope there's less gravity in the afterlife...those organs are a bitch to transport.

I thought he was talking about "Skates" Smith who played for the Phils, Cards, and Royals and went to three separate word series in three consecutive seasons: once with each team.
As for this gentleman I wish him peace.

My all time favourite Hammond organist was Jon Lord of Deep Purple.
I saw them live at the Albert Hall many years ago. Fantastic

More of a fan for pipe organ, as long as they don't do duet with bagpipes for Amazing Grease or Highland Cathedral. RIP.
