Jess' work was classy, not splashy -- classically clean Danish design. A master who was generous with his time and talent. Jeff Gracik and Jody Davis both spent time with Jess, who helped them refine their craft. I imagine that there were many others.
I never had the pleasure of meeting Jess, but I understand that he was a kind fellow. My understanding is that he had difficulty getting past the loss of his beloved wife a few years ago. May they be reunited in eternity.
