He was the author to a great many laughs in m life. I can remember being about 12 or 13 when I sat down with my Dad to watch Blazing Saddles. I never thought my dad very funny until that day. After that we made a habit of watching all this Mel Brooks films together. What a classic act he was. He will be missed.
