I met him years ago and was just as gracious and nice as a person could be.

Didn't someone else start a thread on Texas Dolly's death yesterday?? I thought his greatest line during play was when some smart young punk gave him some flak for the way he played a hand. As he was raking in the chips he said, "We're not playing solitaire".
actually the cheating is worse. The one problem with heaven is while you can break some ones fingers, it's actually still kind of pleasant. Even jail and homelessness is great there.

To be good at poker, whether you cheat or win by skill, you have to have some idea of what is in other peoples' hands. I never had a solid grasp of what was in my hands. But it is a high art and fundamentally mathematical. RIP to the man with the hand.
I know very little about poker and never heard of Mr. Brunson (RIP) but this thread reminded me of this story I saw the other day. So does this mean men have some inherent advantage over women in poker? Perhaps it's more difficult for women to maintain a poker face.
