My only Allman Brothers show was in mid-1974.
I was just out of school for the summer and 2 months shy of my 16th birthday.
My older brother was in the Air Force stationed in Abilene TX.
Friday I rode the bus to Abilene and spent the night in barracks.
Saturday we drove to Texas Stadium in Arlington.
The badass lineup was:
Joe Walsh Band
Marshall Tucker Band
Allman Brothers Band

Bob was/is 5 years older than me, but he started letting me tag along when I was about 12/13 years old.
I’m grateful to him.
