Yes, a badass indeed. Anyone with balls enough to climb into an experimental rocket with wings to exceed a speed at which other aircraft literally rattled apart is a definite badass. Godspeed.

My daughter for a while was his Chauffer , he found out about my service and I got a Flag struck over the Arizona, ball caps, pens, my daughter adored him, RIP!

All the more remarkable is that Yeager broke two ribs a couple of days afore he went up in his rocket plane 'Glamorous Glennis'!
