I read his book this past summer, what a model soldier and citizen.

This news sickens me. What a shame.......
RIP Chris, thank you.

He chose his job and did it well. Don't feel bad, or sorry for a warrior, he was doing what he was called to do. Feel bad for the rest, who don't know or understand what he lived or died for.
I stand corrected jpberg. He was definitely serving his country when he died. He was helping soliders with PTSD. The other victim in this murder and apparently the shooter suffered from PTSD. That IS service to your country. He didnt have to do this.

This threw me when i read about it. I can't imagine surviving as a 15 year SEAL and to be taken at home.

RIP Thanks for my freedom, I appreciate every minute of it.

The guy who shot him was a marine, too.
Terrible shame.
Sure sounds like this guy lived a life full of adventure, though, it's hard to feel sorry for him. His family, though, that's a different story.

I'd never take anyone that has issues to the Gun Range. Ex military or not.
It's always the good that die.

I am so pissed at the arrogant comment by Ron Paul. Please don't think this is political. This was a terribly insensitive tweet made by a politician. We ASKED Chris to go there to protect others. Paul's comments were not necessary, not helpful and not accurate.
