Trebek dead at 80. I've loved his stuff since High Rollers back when I was in college. A fabulous run, & a genuine icon, quite literally one of a kind.

So sorry to see him go. What a gentleman, what a fighter. He lasted longer than I thought he could. RIP.
Jeopardy was the only game show I watched. 
He ran a pretty tight ship on his game shows and didn't lay on the charm overmuch, which was good. RIP.

RIP, the best game show host on the best game show ever. Usually when a Canadian becomes an American celebrity there is a certain amount of dislike and mockery from some Canadians (Justin Beaver, Celine Dion, Nickelback spring to mind) but with Mr. Trebek it was not so. As far as I have seen, he was universally loved and respected by Canadians.
It's hard to imagine TV without Alex, I really cannot remember TV without him.....at least when I wasn't on a steady Sesame Street diet. Six years longer than Carson. Thanks Trebek
One thing a lot of people i know in a certain organization always used to cringe at. "For God's SAKE, don't tell them you're in M**sa till at *least* the third show!!". ???
That’s funny. I almost posted up above how talented he was at dealing with all of the weird shit that those contestants say during the short interviews! ? There are some oddballs that wind up on Jeopardy.
Moustache Trebek was a demigod. Shaved Trebek was an impostor.
Both will be missed.
Totally at a loss for words. His last show airs on Christmas 2020 a fitting tribute to a one of a kind gentlemen!

They played that clip on the radio when I heard. What a loss, I remember watching him even back in grade school.
